By end of year 2021, GN Solids Control has completed 2 sets of 1000GPM drilling mud solids control system for a customer in Shanghai, this is a customized solids control system with standard GN solids control equipment, including following:

1. Shale shaker GNZS703F-SHBF, 2 sets of such shale shakers used for each 1000GPM solids control system. This shaker model is the middle sized shaker model in GN shale shaker family. It has 3 pieces of shaker screens, with a screen area of 2.63 m2. The 2 shale shakers are positioned in parallel and share the treating burden as 1st step separation.

2. Mud cleaner GNZJ703F-2S12N. A mud cleaner is a combination of desander and desilter cyclones, with a shared drying shaker on below. They are the 2nd and 3rd separation procedures for this complete system, desander cones are 10 inch in diameter and desilter cones are 4 inch in diameter, they can remove particles of 40 microns and 20 microns.

3. Centrifugal pumps for feeding the desander cones and desilter cones. Centrifugal pumps are quite commonly used for solids control systems for HDD and oil and gas drilling, they are used as desander and desilter cone feeding pump and also mud mixing hopper feeding pumps. When operator need mud pump to transfer mud from the mud tanks to outside tank system, the centrifugal pumps are always employed to serve such work.

4. Mud agitators and mud guns. They are continuous working equipment in a solids control system to prevent the particle to settle down onto the tank bottom. According to the mud tanks size and mud weight, a suitable mud agitator model will be chosen. And the total qty of mud agitator is determined by the mud tank total length. And along with each agitator, there should be a mud gun.
