Recently, GN Solids Control has delivered to a client in South America a mini solid pump and a mini shale shaker. The client plans to use those mini sized equipment in order to save space and also for flexible applications on the fields by moving from one place to another.

1. Solids pump. Solids Pump is also called vacuum pump because it is fully driven by the vacuum force generated by an air compressor. Since there is no need for electricity, the pump can be used for all conditions requested per CNEX, IECEX, ATEX and etc.

It is called solids pump because it can transfer medium with high content of solids, even the sands and small stones or other materials like the animal waste, oily sludge, wood bits, active carbon particles and etc. The solids can have large particle sizes, with the only limit as the pump’s inlet pipe’s diameter.

GN has designed this vacuum pump for many years, and it has been popular ever since it is put into market. Per different capacities, GN has different solids pump models including 40cbm/hr model, 20cbm/hr model, 10cbm/hr model and a mini one with 5cbm/hr capacity.

2. Mini shale shaker. In order to meet different separating capacities, GN designed different models of shale shakers including double deck shale shaker with 2 shaker decks and totally 6 pieces of shaker screens, shale shaker with 4 pieces of screens and 3 pieces of screens and also a mini shale shaker with 2 pieces of small screens. This mini shaker’s model is GNZS752, equipped by 2 piece of composite frame screens each size 750x900mm.

Besides the shale shakers and vacuum solids pumps, GN Solids Control also makes desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge, high G drying shaker, vertical cuttings dryer, disc stack, and other equipment for separation. For transfer material, GN has various pumps like centrifugal pumps, submersible slurry pumps, screw pumps and etc. For cuttings transportation, GN has screw conveyors with different length for options.
